With gratitude to G”d, it is our great pleasure to announce that we are moving … to Munich, to assume the responsibilities of the senior rabbi and rebbetzin of the Jewish Community of Munich. We greatly thank the Munich Jewish community’s leadership and membership for the trust they put in us, and greatly look forward to our common future, which, with G”d’s help, we will help shape together.
Mazaltov!!!!
A big mazal tov to you! Sometimes waiting for a long time can be worth the wait 😉
What “mazal tov” to our host? It’s Munich that deserves congratulation!
True 🙂
R’ Yerachmiel, I am afraid that I am not allowed to use Google Translate on Shabbos. (Ducking and running …) On the other hand, if you come and visit, especially if ever to perform a Shabbos bris, there are great opportunities for marathons here, including walking through all three shuls in town. You can do it Chofets Chaim style, or become the second Marathon Mohel.
Apologies to R’ Yerachmiel. I hadn’t realized that he actually IS the original, one and only Marathon Mohel. Sadly, most reports have disappeared off the net, but I still found one anonymous mention here: http://www.nytimes.com/1998/10/28/nyregion/public-lives-nonagenarian-proudly-walks-the-marathon.html
Marathons are pretty common – especially if it happens to be in Moscow, & an hour walk is still “close by”…
Or a Shabbos bris in St. Louis with a 45 min. walk… 🙂
MAZAL TOV, ARIE!!!!!!!!
I didn’t tell you anything Mon. evening in Basel when I saw you, because I didn’t know yet…
I thought you told Adam Mazal Tov for the bris of his son Akiva Yisroel, which was yesterday morning 🙂
@Rabbi Folger: Well-spotted! 😛
@RYS: As far as I know, Rabbi Folger’s German is already pretty good (see all his German blog entries, the book he wrote in German, etc. 😉
Mazal Tov!
